About Us

Younger Generation The Younger Generation Chorus of Plano is a non-profit, premier children's chorus with members from age 9 through 13 representing Collin County, Texas. The mission of Younger Generation is to provide a unique choral experience for area youth and to enrich the lives of children from all religious, ethnic, cultural, and economic backgrounds through a program of musical excellence. Since 1983, the chorus has achieved National recognition for excellence and artistry. In addition to an ambitious local annual season, the choir has performed at the White House in Washington, D.C., Epcot Center in Orlando, Florida, Salt Lake City's America Sings Festival, the TMEA convention in San Antonio, and the Kerrville Folk Festival. In 2004, the choir made its first international tour, with performances in Quebec, Canada at the cathedrals of Notre Dame de Quebec and Notre Dame de la Garde.
